I’m alone now, and you’re laughing at me
But I take life, in a way that you could never see

1985. Relentless

Relentless is the debut album from Pentagram. It was initially self-released in 1985 as Pentagram but was re-issued by Peaceville Records in 1993 with the new moniker and a new track listing. It was released as a 2 CD split with Day of Reckoning in 1996 and then re-released again in 2005 as a digipak. This album is now commonly known as Relentless. Originally recorded and released in 1982 on the “All Your Sins” demo tape (as DEATH ROW), the band decided to re-record some vocals and guitar parts in 1984 and created a complete new mix for their self-released debut album. Until now, the 1984 remix of the recordings appear on the first edition vinyl only (the one with the purple logo) and was never released on CD or later pressings. When PEACEVILLE RECORDS decided to release the album on CD in 1993, they restored the 1982 mix and track listing to save the original spirit and charm of the recordings. All CD and LP versions released since 1993 contain the original 1982 version

It’s absolutely disgusting how much hipster bullshit there is under the ‘Pentagram’ tag and how few posts about the band.

Doom on, smoke down, drop out.
